Director of Sales, Europe

Munich, Zagreb, Croatia


We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, self-starter to support our growth and expansion initiatives in Europe. The Director of Sales, Europe, will be responsible for the development of a strong distribution network across Europe, as well as full brand development to maximize new enterprise sales opportunities for our line of autonomous mobile robots. The role will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, developing and closing strategic customer opportunities, thus increasing the company's profits. 


This position will be located in either Zagreb, Croatia, or Munich, Germany, and will report to the company's CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the market potential for the existing line of company's products and collaborate with management on developing a viable sales strategy for the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain a network of regional distribution, integration and support partners.
  • Generate customer leads, analyze customer requirements and qualify leads, develop sales proposals and close deals. Maintain strong end-customer relationships based on trust.
  • Set and maintain clear customer expectations in line with the company's Product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with our Customer Success and R&D divisions to ensure critical customer projects are delivered as planned.
  • Provide input and feedback to Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, R&D and Product Management organizations.
  • Attend industry trade shows.
  • Hire, develop and manage an ambitious team of sales representatives throughout the region.
  • Operate as a regional key point contact for all other sales-related activities.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales or business development experience (preferably in robotics, automation, logistics, manufacturing or IoT).
  • A growth mindset and a great track record of success within enterprise sales.
  • International experience or exposure to global markets.
  • Experience in selling complex technology solutions.
  • Experience in selling to traditional industries like general manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, food manufacturing, retail, or logistics is preferred.
  • A strong network of contacts. 
  • Proficient in CRM and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Fluency in English, preferably in German as well.
  • Willingness to travel to meet customers and attend industry trade shows.
